We used the heavy equipment to push the largest rocks in place to form a retaining wall. I dug out five primary beds in the center of the garden and divided them by gravel paths.
Repeat, using the white of the rind as a guide for the knife, until the melon is completely peeled. Cut the flesh into 2-inch-thick slices and set aside the rounded end cuts. Trim the slices into shapes that will fit on the serving platter you plan to use (I like diamonds). Reserve the heart (center) of the melon.
