In Fig. 4, the intermediate tooth, Int, is reversed. Its anterior root edge is almost straight and the posterior is longer. The anterior edge of the crown is almost perpendicular, and the posterior side is angled toward the front of the jaw. The first upper lateral bears an almost straight crown and has wide roots that form an open V-shaped interspace. The second upper lateral is the largest lateral and the widest tooth in the jaw. The anterior edge of its crown is concave, and the tip of the posterior edge is convex.
For all data sets, we generated 10,000 random trees and calculated the gi value. We repeated this five times, calculated the mean ^ | value, and compared it with the table of critical values in the article by Hillis and Huelsenbeck (1992).
