The p r o d u c t , technological, and organizational c h a r acteristics a t t r i b u t e d by Kuznets to agriculture have been u n d e r major p r e s s u r e s making for change; the corporate farm, the Green Revolution, and changes in food technology have all contributed to doubt about the unchanging identity of the agricultural sector.
